    • You gotta love a client who tells you, up front, “I don’t hand out compliments easily, but you truly exceeded every expectation… Wow”. Our task was “simple”… Develop a new look, brand and marketing strategy for an established industry leader in customizable homes. This one was in our wheelhouse, and apparently the client thinks we knocked it out of the ballpark. (We were just too humble to say so ourselves!)

    • Commercial Bank & Trust came to us with the proposition of a total re-brand. Nothing was out of play, so that’s what we gave them, a little bit of everything. From logo to charge card, we spent a “few” long nights putting together a brand spanking new face for our local bank.

    When our friends at Weaver Master Builders came to us with a new project we were happy to help lay the graphic foundation for this new community. The Village at Camp Trees was a new builder community were Weaver was not only one of the builders involved, but the developer. The challenge was to come up with concept that felt warm and rich, but not exclusive. Expandable for the builders that were already committed and those that might be added later on down the road. Playing off the “Tree” theme we used a warm wood texture that could be used throughout all media. At the end of it all, happy clients mean happy designers. They were thrilled with the results, the community is selling well, and we couldn’t be happier.

    Who doesn’t love a startup, but don’t make the mistake of considering Vista Homes the underdog. This South Carolina builder has some serious national builder pedigree. Which meant high standards when it came to a corporate identity and all of the peripherals that go along with it. The flagship community of Drakes Fields will be the belle of the ball and she will be dressed in the finest design that Downs Creative can imagine. Looks for billboards popping up around Anderson SC in April 2010.

    We are always happy when an established business is interested in a fresh look. Our new friends at Flowers in the Attic of Pittsburgh PA, have a beautiful location and an interesting product line to match. Owner Ken Milko is a talented florist and a respected member of the business community. His old site was easy to follow, but didn’t give him the eye catching presence he desired. We are planting the seeds on his new image this spring. Look for his new site and business facelift to be in full bloom by this summer.

    The guys at I-65 Chrome Shop in Remington Indiana asked us to revamp their identity and bring them into the online community with their web presence.  Starting simple, we created a new logo and business identity.     The local cable provider Citizen’s Telecom Solutions of Kecksburg, PA came to us with a desire for a marketing campaign that would drive new and current customers to what would be their new website.  Side by side we developed a direct mail campaign that composed of multiple hit invitations and trial offers followed by print ads, channel line-ups, brochures and then eventually the re-design of their website.
